I got into magic about two years ago and have recently started buying set and draft booster boxes to ... grow my collection and do drafts with my buddies. When I started I used Moxfield quite a bit to build decks and share the deck list with my friends so they could see what they were in for so I have a few questions before I start to migrate all my cards over to this.
I intend to use tags quite heavily. Basically I evaluate the utility of a card and will be using archetypes to help describe the card better than the oracle text (at least in my view of the world). I was able to successfully tag cards, but I do not see a way to actually search using the tags. In advanced search "tags" is listed with an edit button, but there isn't a way to search. Am I missing something obvious?
Similarly, I was able to apply a condition to a card by modifying the default behaviour when cards are entered into the database, but there doesn't seem to be a way to apply a condition to a card already in my collection. Additionally, the table that displays "condition" shows a blank for cards with conditions that definitely include "near mint" in them, so I'm just plain not understanding something there.
Is there any way to share a link with a deck list?
If these are things you can do when subscribing to the patreon, which tier do I need to be for which one? I REALLY like the ease of adding cards using the desktop app as compared to Moxfield. The UI is very clean and very fast to respond because the pics are local, which is awesome. If all three of the above are possible using the product I'd definitely sign up for whatever tier was required.
Thanks!
1. You can search with tags by clicking on edit button in the advanced search and adding the tags you want to list.
2. You can edit the condition of a card by clicking the card and using the bottom app bar menu … from there you have a “specifics” menu to edit condition / grading and language
3. Nope:(
No tier required:) all is in the free version
